Q. When is the event?
A. Thursday, January 28 and Friday, January 29, 2009. Registration begins at Thursday evening’s event and continues on Friday morning at 8:00 AM. Expert breakout sessions will run from 8:30 to 4:30 PM (includes lunch). (Other activities will run from 8 AM–6PM.) The Vive Shopping Village will be open from 8AM to 6 PM.

Directions to The Westin:
I-95 South toward Miami. I-95 becomes US 1/ S. Dixie Hwy. Turn right on SW 17th Ave. Turn left onto SW 22nd St/ Coral Way. Continue to follow Coral Way and turn right on Ponce de Leon Blvd. Then turn right onto Aragon Ave. The Westin Colonnade is at 180 Aragon Ave.

Q. Who will be attending the event?
A. Business minded women, Vive subscribers, socially active women, groups, coworkers, friends and yes, even men.

Q. Are event fees refundable?
A. Registration is FINAL. No refunds will be available. However, if necessary, a guest may send someone else in their place. All registration, name tags, etc will be in the name that was given during registration.

Q. How much does it cost to attend the conference?
A. Tickets are $195 and include a ticket for the conference attendee and a guest (value: 2 for the price of 1)

Q. What forms of payment can I use at the conference?
A. We accept VISA, Mastercard, AMEX or Check. Please make all checks payable to: Vive magazine. Payment must accompany registration form (fax to 561.687.3489).

Q. What topics will the conference cover?
A. The conference will cover a wide range of topics in the relevant categories of mind, body and money.

Q. Who are some of the attending speakers and what topics will they discuss?
A. Vive has secured extraordinary speakers for the Coral Gables conference. The full list of speakers and their bios will be available on Oct 30. Email conference@vivemagazine.com for more info.

Q. Do I have to stick to one subject track (Mind, Body or Money) for conference speeches?
A. No, you can customize your ideal track for the day to best suit your interests.

Q. What is the Vive Shopping Village?
A. The Vive Shopping Village provides the best-of-the-best in lifestyle boutiques, spa mini-services and one-on-one access to Vive experts. Our boutiques will house wonderful items for beauty, fashion, jewelry, anti-aging, spa products, nutrition, wellness, travel and much, much more! Spend time visiting with friends or networking with new ones. You will also gain access to professional women’s organizations around the state.

Q. Can I bring friends or colleagues?
A. Yes. You are encouraged to bring friends, colleagues, networking buddies and clients!

Q. What is the appropriate dress for the event?
A. Business casual is appropriate for all parts of the conference.

Q. May I stay at The Westin Colonnade for the weekend?
A. Absolutely. Vive has negotiated special weekend special for conference attendees. Email conference@vivemagazine.com for the rates and rate codes. Guests must call The Westin Colonnade directly for room reservations only at 305.569.6532.
