The Look of Dennis Basso
“I always wanted to be a designer. I have a sketch in my office from when I was 7 years old,” recalls furrier Dennis Basso, who celebrated a major milestone for the Basso label this past year—his 25th anniversary. This sketch, of a woman dressed in heels and wearing a long dress adorned with childlike textured spots, is a reminder to Basso of his journey to success. “It’s something that developed and I always loved it.
